Affiche PAMW light 2017
Mr Larderet is the co-founder of the Piano au Musée Würth international festival which he also managed as Artistic Director until 2017. Enrolling in the way of the Weekends du piano started in 2010, the Würth Museum had celebrated Piano au Musée Würth which was recognized by the scale of its wonderful and varied programming as the only international piano Festival in Alsace, offering an incomparable radiance to this beautiful area and the city of Erstein, closed to both Strasbourg and Germany ! The mission of this exceptional event was to celebrate the King piano in all forms including recitals by renowned international soloists, chamber music concerts and Masterclasses. Among others Philippe Bianconi, Phillipe Cassard, Michel Dalberto, Nelson Goerner, Vadym Kholodenko, Luis Fernando Perez and Herbert Schuch contributed to giving fame to this event. Some young talents at the start of a bright future were also presented. The desire for transmission is an essential goal and Masterclasses give the opportunity to young pianists still in training to develop and perform with an audience. An eclectic repertoire was honored with the great masterpieces of the piano repertoire including Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Fauré, Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev, Szymanowski, Berg, Granados, Albéniz and lesser-known works rarely given in concert. French music and the great romantic repertoire also held a prominent place. The Hall and the beautiful Steinway D of the Würth Museum increase a new public, large and renewed. Mr Larderet acknowledges the partners, and all guests’ artists who participated in the prestige and success of Piano au Musée Würth
